Solar thermal & EL inspection field evidence

The decision

Select thermal, EL or a combined method around the suspected failure mode and the decision the evidence must support.

Best suited to

Where this solution fits.

  • Commissioning and acceptance
  • Operational fault screening
  • Warranty evidence
  • Post-transport or installation review
  • Targeted module investigation

Deliverables

What your team receives.

  • Module-linked findings
  • Radiometric thermal evidence
  • EL imagery where scoped
  • Issue classification and priority
  • Structured dataset and management summary

Scope inputs

What we define first.

  • Plant size and module layout
  • Commissioning or operational objective
  • Thermal and/or EL requirement
  • Sampling or full-population scope
  • Data and reporting format

Common questions

Before mobilisation.

What is the difference between thermal and EL inspection?

Thermal inspection identifies temperature patterns under operating conditions. EL imaging reveals cell- and module-level electrical or structural features not necessarily visible thermally.

Do we always need both?

No. The method should follow the suspected issue, project stage and evidence requirement. We help define the most useful scope.
