SELECTED PROJECT EVIDENCE

Real project evidence.
Clear boundaries.

Examples of project experience, awarded programmes and controlled data workflows supported by V3 Namibia and its wider delivery network.

Where confidentiality applies, client names, locations and sensitive asset information are intentionally withheld.

We distinguish between completed experience, awarded work and specialist capability. We do not present a proposed scope as completed delivery.

MINING / GEOSPATIAL

NAMIBIA

STATUS: PRIOR DELIVERY EXPERIENCE

Mine survey data that answered a commercial question.

Survey scope image showing defined mining material areas
Mining volume calculation results and supporting survey output
The requirement

A mine required an updated topographic survey and defensible volume calculations across defined material areas.

The evidence
  • UAV photogrammetry
  • 13 ground-control points
  • 3 permanent survey beacons
  • WGS84 / UTM34S delivery
  • cleaned point-cloud processing
  • orthophoto generation
  • terrain/TIN processing
  • volume calculations
  • cross-section outputs
The output

The survey converted aerial capture into quantified geospatial information rather than simply delivering photographs.

Defined material areas were measured and reported with supporting survey evidence and cross-sections.

Why it mattered

The deliverable helped answer an operational and commercial question:

What material is present, where is it located, and what quantity can be supported by the survey evidence?

SOLAR / ASSET INTELLIGENCE

From thermal capture to prioritised module findings.

NAMIBIA

Thermal map showing the solar site inspection context
Solar module-level anomaly record with visual and thermal evidence
The requirement

Assess a utility-scale solar site using paired visual and thermal evidence and convert the inspection data into structured, actionable module-level findings.

Project evidence
  • 5 MWp solar site
  • Approximately 11.38 ha inspection area
  • Paired RGB and thermal UAV capture
  • Anomaly classification
  • Severity grouping
  • Temperature-delta analysis
  • Geolocated findings
  • Module-level inspection records
  • Recommended remedial action
The workflow
CAPTUREANALYSELOCATECLASSIFYPRIORITISEACT
The finding record

An individual inspection finding can include:

  • RGB evidence
  • Thermal evidence
  • Precise location
  • Anomaly category
  • Severity
  • Temperature delta
  • Recommended next action
Why it mattered

The value was not the thermal image itself.

The value was converting inspection evidence into structured findings that could be reviewed, prioritised and acted on by the asset team.

Technical boundary

Thermal screening supports maintenance decisions but does not replace competent electrical assessment or testing where required.

WIND / CONSTRUCTION EVIDENCE

A permanent visual record of a critical construction milestone.

SOUTHERN AFRICA

Wind turbine nacelle being lifted during a construction milestone
Wind turbine nacelle positioned during a construction milestone
The requirement

Create controlled aerial evidence of major wind-turbine construction milestones during a live heavy-lift and erection programme.

The capture

The programme included evidence of:

  • Tower erection
  • Heavy-lift activity
  • Nacelle installation
  • Hub installation
  • Blade installation
  • Construction-site context
  • Repeat visual records
  • High-resolution still imagery
  • Project-progress media
The output

The capture created a consistent visual record of major construction milestones rather than isolated photographs.

This record can support:

  • Project reporting
  • Stakeholder communication
  • Progress verification
  • Construction history
  • Handover records
  • Future comparison
  • Selected project media
Why it mattered

Construction teams already know that work is taking place.

The value is creating a repeatable, high-quality evidence record showing what happened, when it happened and the condition and context of the site at that stage of the programme.

Capability boundary

CAPABILITY IS NOT THE SAME AS PROJECT HISTORY

V3 Namibia also provides access to specialist capability for:

  • Wind turbine blade inspection
  • Solar thermal and EL inspection
  • Overhead-line and substation inspection
  • LiDAR and engineering survey
  • Tank and confined-space inspection
  • Industrial and mining asset inspection
  • Oil, gas and marine inspection support

Where specialist engineering, NDT, rope access, statutory inspection or professional certification is required, the responsible specialist is identified separately within the project scope.

Evidence with clear boundaries

Show enough to demonstrate the work. Protect what belongs to the client.

Naming, imagery, reporting and client access are agreed before mobilisation. Approved deliverables are then shared through a controlled project workspace.

Your asset. Your decision.
