The decision

Use the right spatial product for the design, quantity, clearance or change decision—not simply the available sensor.

Best suited to

Where this solution fits.

  • Topographic and engineering surveys
  • Corridors and linear infrastructure
  • Construction baselines and as-builts
  • Difficult terrain and vegetation
  • Repeat survey and change detection

Deliverables

What your team receives.

  • Classified point cloud in LAS/LAZ
  • Orthomosaic and georeferenced imagery
  • DTM, DSM, contours and breaklines
  • CAD/GIS-ready surfaces and drawings
  • Survey report, control and quality information

Scope inputs

What we define first.

  • Coordinate reference system
  • Required accuracy and control
  • Coverage and terrain conditions
  • Intended engineering use
  • Output formats and programme

Common questions

Before mobilisation.

Should we use LiDAR or photogrammetry?

LiDAR is often preferred where ground definition, vegetation penetration or complex geometry matters. Photogrammetry is strong for high-resolution colour, mapping and surface modelling. Some projects benefit from both.

Can the data be used in CAD or GIS?

Yes. Output formats and coordinate requirements are agreed before mobilisation so the delivery fits the client workflow.
